I hardly toured trial during 7 days. Some amazing unique sounds are possible here but at a coast ! On a modern Core i7, GUI with a patch loaded taxes quite 15%, playing mono-mode brings meter upper to 20% and playing a poly chord rises up the taxe from 40% to saturation !!! Ok, we can freeze or render in place but my opinion is that the beauty of the beast and its fantastic FXs are more a pleasure for the eyes than to fuck with, I mean building projects or just playing vsts live like I currently do… Arturia did a big effort in this sense with Pigments now in version 7, I won`t say please “follow the leader” but at least a good example. Keeping my interest for a future lighter Current 🤞😊

I really love Evoke, but there is one thing I would like to see. If you could slightly set the delay on each harmony. I think it would sound fatter and you could hear them more distinctly. Good job otherwise!

I would like the ability to choose MPE globally rather than per preset. If I create a load of presets using my MPE controller then share those, a user without an MPE controller has to change to use MIDI instead of MPE each time they change preset (unless I am missing something). You could have a switch which it sets it to global/per preset defaulting to per preset to not impact backwards compatibility. I would like the ability to search for tags when saving a preset. Currently I need to look through all tags if say I want only drum tags

Hope you can add more different kind of filters in the filter module, the current one only has the basic filters would be nice to have the same options as in the Current synth, they can really spice up the sound much more. Now the eq feels like it has more funtionality than the filter.

Wow! I have only downloaded the fully working demo but this is everything that I dreamed of when I first read about granular synthesis many years ago. I was creating amazing textures within minutes of booting, so easy to use but so deep. Thank you Minimal for making an old man’s dream come true. I am getting the full license as soon as my next pension payment clears!

The “control option command click” shortcut was only added to pro tools a couple years ago but it is such a major QOL upgrade. Manually scrolling thru hundreds of parameters to find the one I’m looking for is such a flow killer, and this gives pro tools users the ability to just click on what to automate (yes, avid should’ve added this years ago internally but that’s another discussion). Please consider adding this functionality to all your plugins, it has been a workflow godsend on all the plugins I use that implemented it. Thanks!

I use current, swarm reverb, and cluster delay a lot. Unfortunately I’m asked to log in / authenticate excessively often, to the point that it gets in the way of my workflow. I haven’t been keeping track of the exact frequency, but it feels like every other day the authentication expires for some reason. For example, I just logged into the plugins earlier this week. Booted up Ableton again today to start working on a track, and I had to log in again. It’s very frustrating that the login doesn’t stick for longer.

Iit would be SO awesome to have the Taps control exposed to the DAW so i could attach it to a macro. i use cluster delay and flex chorus so much that i have a few ableton macro racks set up for specific use cases, but not being able to control the # of voices without opening the UI really limits how helpful this can be. (this also goes for rift’s pre/post filter toggle but i’ve already posted about that)

With Linux becoming easier and easier to switch to and Microslop etc become more draconian, it’d be great to see some native linux builds. Currently the Minimal Audio plugins do not work with the yabridge/wine method due to some JUCE8 issues. Although it seems like in some instances they do work, it seems unreliable.

Do you have any plans to create a FX plugin based on CURRENT? An FX rack with modulators like Curves, LFOs, Macros, Random, Envelope Followers, and drag-and-drop modulation would be amazing. It would also be great to have a flexible effect chain with more effect slots and the ability to freely reorder effects. Having dedicated FX presets would make sound design much faster, since you wouldn’t need to open multiple plugins on every channel or draw automation by hand for every project. I think it could become an incredibly powerful creative tool. Is something like this on your roadmap? I think many CURRENT users would love it.

Here’s how it could work: Drag a modulator over a Curve segment, it turns green to give visual feedback, drop it and off we go. Fine tuning can be done in the matrix.

I noticed in the newer effects like Poly Flanger, the number of voices parameter can be adjusted by mouse dragging. Would be great if you could bring that to all the older effects too, like Taps in Cluster Delay and Voices in Flex Chorus (which currently have a popup menu). The new workflow is so much smoother. Also: while the popup does make more sense for the Style/Mode parameters, it would be nice to at least have mouse scroll switching for those too. (Or maybe even: single click→menu, drag→instant mode switch, if that’s possible)

Hello Lovely team, Big fan of your easy modulation plugin concept , if you could add the HUI Page tables for all the Plugs Parameters so that they can be easily spread on a MIDI controller thanks to Mulligan2 they become as hands on as it can get; New Protools have this new Option “HUI PAGE TABLES” which Fabfilter applied on day 1, a Game Changer! Morph EQ is a great plugin but it would be even better if external MIDI could be routed into it for key tracking. Helpful for complex hardstyle kick chains or any other application where note pitch and eq frequency relationships need to move in lock-step, or varied independently.

I am a big fan of Poly Flanger, but can’t use it in some of my productions that have A4 = 432hz. A “tuning” (A4 freq) or detune (in fractional cents with at least 2 decimals precision) would solve this.
