Delta solo and curve adjustment of the built-in clipper.
I noticed that no hotkeys are assigned to this button (Ctrl + Left Mouse Button, for example). It simply switches between three modes. But I think we could make it a bit more user-friendly: If one of the two limiting modes is enabled, the "delta solo" function becomes available, allowing you to listen separately to the distortion introduced by the clipper. I suggest assigning this by clicking the icon with Alt + Left Mouse Button. While holding Shift + dragging with the Left Mouse Button up and down, the clipper curve will change, making it either softer or more aggressive. This can be indicated by a color gradient from red to violet and by updating the curve icon instead of using a static image. Consequently, only one mode will be needed instead of two. This will make the final clipping more flexible and clean. The delta solo function is quite important for effects that can introduce significant distortion, such as a clipper.

Additional Randomization Options in Current
Would would nice to have a seed-based randomization option in current/all fx so that you could get pseudo randomized movement that is the same every time the playhead is launched Would nice to have an unlimited discrete note-on modulator that you could assign to things that you’re not taking up modulation slots with randomized s&h modulators in trigger mode

Envelope Follower input filter
It would be really helpful for envelope followers (in Rift, Current etc.) to be able to have their input high passed so that its only responding to higher frequencies — sounds with big subs can sometimes really kneecap the usefulness of the follower.

Features for Granulator in Current
Would be really cool to have an option to alternate panning on grains in the granulator, so that every panned in a pingpong like manner rather than just fully random. Additionally, it would be nice to have this feature on a slide so you could slowly fade into full ping grains. Allows for really mono stable stereo width at high rates (when grains don’t overlap). I’d love if there was a way to have pitch tracking in the grain rate in the granular engine of current function independently from the underlying sample repitching. Right now if you import a sample that isn’t in c, and use the pitch adjustment function in the granular engine to line it up with the keys (e.g. adjusting a sample in D down two semi tones to be in C), adjusting the grain rate pitch tracking up to +48 will also be shifted so it no longer is locked to the proper pitch. Only way around it a the moment is prepitching the sample to C before importing it into current. Adjusting the tuning also changes the way the pitch tracks at the moment. Would be cool to have pitch randomization quantizing so that you could set a randomization for grains to be repitched by octaves or fifths rather than just at any pitch.

Couple of suggestions
a) for the core fx, make the modulation a curve (based on Current) for additional modulation options and make it backward compatible with the existing modulation/effect system) b) add additional chorus modes to flex chorus (eg chaos based modulation, micro-doppler or tiny continuous pitch shifts) and ripple phaser

Modulators for external effects.
Demonstration of the problem: As can be seen in the video, the filter fails to keep up with external modulation once it exceeds a certain speed threshold. This imposes limitations on the precision of working with effects when fast triggering is required. Solution: Simply add one or two Curve modulators to the external effects related to real-time sound manipulation, similar to those already present in Current (ideally, also replace the stock ones if possible, to add flexibility in working with the modulator's curve-even one Curve modulator would change a lot): Wave Shifter, Ripple Phaser, Morph EQ, Hybrid Filter. There should also be the ability to synchronize the modulators with the host in the usual way and via MIDI trigger. What problem does this solve: The problem of being unable to work precisely with rapid parameter changes, since external modulators and automations do not possess that level of synchronization with the VST.

Add notes / description to presets
It would be very helpful if there was a way to add a description or notes and save them with a preset. And then to be able to view them when browsing presets.

request: preset lock
very new to Current, and an issue I’ve already run into a few times is that when working with fx for a patch I’ll go to flip through that fx’s presets and accidentally change the entire patch preset and lose everything I’ve been working on. Sure this could be resolved by me just being more careful, and I will get better with it as I get used to it. But with such similar preset selection bars right next to each other it would be great if there was a setting so that it asks if I’m sure I want to change the main preset before it does once I modified the init patch. If there is already something like this please let me know where to find it. thanks!

a "randomize all controls" button in Rift, Wave Shifter (and more?)
i just think it’d be sweet to have a little dice icon in the top corner of some minimal plugins, like Rift and Wave shifter, that would randomize the position of every knob, switch, and dropdown menu, kind of like how newer unfiltered audio plugins (SILO) have. i do this kind of thing when i’m sound designing a lot, but i’m limited by the 16-macro cutoff and the fact that some controls aren’t exposed to automation (Rift pre/post filter switch when?). I know there’s already a random preset button, but i want something a lot more chaotic. this kind of interaction can be really inspiring, and i know minimal plugins really shine in this kind of workflow. if i was getting greedy, i might even suggest that this randomization be “smart” (auto-compensating high drive/input values with low output volumes), or the ability to “lock” certain values so they’re ignored by the randomization, but i’d happily settle for just a brute force randomizer for now.

Mid-Side mode for Polar Distortion in Current v2.0
Hi everyone. Enjoying current so far after getting it on sale. I saw how Fuse Compressor had a mid-side mode, but I was disappointed to not see it on Polar Distortion. I think it’s an important feature to add, because left-right and mid-side distortions have completely different outcomes on stereo sources. Especially with bass sounds that have non-mono low frequency information. I think it should be considered. Amazing synth so far though

4k Monitor and Hi-DPI Support
Please test your plugins with mixed-monitor setups… particularly a 4k monitor and a 1080p monitor… Using Hybrid Filter 1.3.0r1 on Windows 11, if you OPEN the plugin on either monitor, things work great, no problem. If you DRAG the plugin to the opposite monitor, the plugin’s window size gets messed up. Drag it to the other monitor again, it gets worse… and worse, etc. Yes, I can manually re-set the window size in settings… but simple dragging from one monitor to another should have a smoother experience. Just saying!

Cubase drag and drop to Current support
I’ve been going insane because you can’t drag and drop files from Cubase’s arrangement view/ timeline into Current’s sampler or granular engine. From what I understand, this is because Cubase uses some format called XML for drag and drop which most VSTs don’t support. I know that it should be Steinberg who changes their software and not you, but I’m finding Steinberg forum posts about this dating back to 2012 so I doubt they’ll do anything anytime soon.

Current freezing everything during using
At first, if I use Matrix, after I hit play button while Current is active, it will freeze my ableton instantly. Now, even when I play a very simple patch with one modulation, it will freeze the whole thing. Anyone experienced this before? It has become un-usable since this happened.

Bug with FM on subs -- phase wonkiness
Ran into this bug a while ago but just got around to recording video on it. When you load up sub oscillator on default settings, have it play contiguous midi notes (there have to be touching one another end to end), and then crank the fm (in feedback mode on the sub) you can get it into a state where the phase is inconsistent between notes. Some weirdness I ran into this bug: 1.) Doesn’t matter how many voices the synth has, seems to happen in polyphonic and monophonic mode 2.) There doesn’t seem to be an obvious threshold where the fm knob starts making this happen. 3.) The only way to reset it seems to be loading a new instance of current and deleting the old one — deactivating current and reactivating it wont break it out of this behavior. Slight loudness warning on the video for when i crank the fm.

Fuse Compressor Bug
So love your compressor, actually I love all your products. I just found today that the fuse compressor (latest version) has a bug on the latest Mac and Logic. The dry wet slider only works if I click and try on the top 1/3 of the slider. If I click on drag on the line or a little bit below, it does not work. It's a small thing, but could you fix it, please? Thank you for creating amazing products 🥳

Evoke Key Change Parameter
Hello! I’ve been loving the new ‘Evoke’ vocal resynth plugin and have been trying to create some cool, complex patches within FL Studio’s patcher with it… Only feature I’m looking for is the ability to expose the “Key” parameter of Evoke within Patcher and be able to change it with knobs on the control surface. It would be super cool to be able to use this plugin in a large patch while also being able to key match it to your project quickly using those parameters. Thank you!

Evoke low CPU mode
Hi, I’ve noticed Evoke is pretty heavy on CPU compared to other plugins even for the Unison or Choral resynth. It would be great to optimize the CPU usage or provide a way to disable some of the features (e.g. retune, display, etc.) to free up some of the load. Right now, I have to disable it to let the project play and only use it on offline events or during rendering.
