Hard phase reset for Sub Oscillator on repeated notes in mono

It would be cool if in sub mode there was an option to have a mono sub (one voice, so gliding is an option) that resets phase on trigger, even if triggered right after another note thats the same pitch -- i believe this would require latency / lookahead to end the note before the end of the midi signal in time for the phase to not get inverted. Usecase for this is so you can retrigger subs in consistent phase for consistent kick sub phase stuff and still take advantage of all the mono glid features etc for when the notes are different.

My workaround in Current to have 2 voices active, but with legato on I get a phase reset if I have overlapping different notes right before the glide kicks in. TL;DR I want a mode where I can get a hard phase reset on the same note, but normal gliding for different notes.

Shortening midi notes manually is a bit of a pain and kind of finicky.
