[Current] Enhanced features for the sampler

Feature Requests

I know you guys are cooking current 3.0 in the background so I am sure you’ve got some great ideas already.

But I was just using current mostly to load in a sample and add the sub engine and effects to it. This is a powerful combo and it would just be nice to get a more advanced sampler for the next version.

I could come up with a few things to suggest, but for example today I wanted to modulate the start point of the sample but it is not possible.

So for now I am just bringing this up as something that could be more feature rich in the future. I like to use current as my sampler, but right now its a bit of a side engine.
