Ability to turn effects on/off with modulation

Hello!
I apologize if this has been requested in the past but I was using Current last night and was thinking it would be really sick to turn effects on/off by modulating the on/off buttons (on the Effects page) with the already robust curve automation system in the plugin. This same feature request honestly applies to the whole Minimal ecosystem, being able to use curve on the on/off button to rhythmically trigger tuned delays would be nuts. I realize this workflow is achievable with other means, but I think it would be more intuitive. I don’t know how feasible this request actually is, I could imagine this would spark cpu spikes etc. But if it is not possible, would there be a way to have these on/off buttons be automate-able in the DAW, when I have tried to configure it manually it seems impossible.
